Physicochemical Properties
It is white crystal powder, but it often shows yellow due to the impurities contained therein. The Mohs hardness is 3~3.5 and the specific gravity is 3~3.07. Because of its unique crystal structure and morphology, boehmite has the characteristics of zero charge, high interfacial free energy, large porosity, large specific surface area, good dispersion, good colloidal solubility and high heat resistance, and is widely used in industrial production.

Applications and Usages
Pseudo boehmite is the main raw material for making the catalyst carrier. It can be used for the semi synthesis of rare earth Y type molecular sieve catalyst binder, the binder of aluminum silicate refractory fibre, ethanol dehydration to ethylene and ethylene oxide catalyst, catalyst carrier, it can also be used for production of activated alumina and aluminum salt as raw material.
