Physicochemical Properties
White crystal, odorless, slightly bitter and numb. Very soluble in water, ethanol and organic solvents, but insoluble in ether. The aqueous solution does not decompose under acid and alkali conditions, and rarely deteriorates after repeated high-pressure sterilization.
